Privacy
Without an account
Your marks, the name on your share card and your settings stay in your browser (localStorage). They are not sent to us unless you sign in; a share link carries your marked titles and name in the link itself.
Anonymous counts
We count events such as a visit or a share. With each event we record the interface and browser language, device type (phone or desktop), country, the site you came from, the campaign tag of the link if it has one, whether you have been here before and, for some events, a detail such as the share platform or a number (for example your readiness). No cookies, no identifiers, no IP address. The counts are stored in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine and kept for about three months. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes your IP address to deliver pages and to work out your country; we do not store it.
With an account
Signing in with Google gives us your Google account ID and email address; we ask for nothing else and send you no email. In Cloudflare D1 we keep that ID and email, which titles you marked or unmarked and when each last changed, when the account was created and when your marks last changed on it, and, the username you choose, and the name on your share card when you set it while signed in. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 180 days; a second cookie lasts 10 minutes, only while you sign in.
Your profile
Your profile is private until you turn it on. When it is public, anyone who opens ready.party/@yourusername can see your username, your marked titles and your display name. Profile pages are not indexed by search engines. After you turn it off, the page may still be served from cache for up to a minute.
Deleting your data
"Delete my account" in the account menu (your name in the top bar) deletes your account from our database at once. A public profile page may still be served from cache for up to a minute, and Cloudflare's automatic database backups may keep your account data for up to 30 days. Clearing your browser data removes what is stored there. Questions: [email protected].
